Temoku Pie Dish |
In addition to our quiche/baking dishes, we make a pie dish about equal
to a standard 10" pie baking dish. This one has a fluted edge,
but has an unfluted space to more easily remove the first slice. The
color is a Japanese "Temoku" glaze. We use a Stoneware clay,
fired in a slightly reducing atmosphere to 2425°F (1310°C). These are
also available in most of our other glaze combinations and colors as
well. Also fine for baking other foods in as well. Try it with your
favorite recipe. If you would like to share a recipe, we may include
it with our other recipes. We will post it on this web site with credit
to the provider of the recipe.
Orders taken if this one is sold. Though no two pieces will fire out exactly the same, this glaze is very similar from firing to firing. |
