This vase has a zirconium white glaze overlaying a layer
of cobalt glaze modified with rutile (a form of titanium oxide).
It is fired to 2425°F (1310°C). This is a Stoneware
clay, fired in a slightly reducing atmosphere. Orders taken if this one is sold. Though no two pieces will fire out exactly the same, this glaze is very similar from firing to firing. |
