All Black Pattern
We spent a number of years perfecting this rich looking black glaze, which often contains silvery highlights. It is a wonderful background for all foods. The Japaese traditionally use a solid background, and let the food bring the color. Imagine a fruit salad or other food on this surface. It really makes the food pop! This glaze is fairly similar from firing to firing.
The bottoms
of the dinnerware are flat, and will not collect water in a
dishwasher. All the pieces are carefully measured while on the
wheel to make sure they are all the same size to easily stack
inside one another.
