TESTIMONIALS:

Very Satisfied Customers

Twenty-one years ago, my wife and I were newlyweds looking for a unique and beautiful 12-piece set of ceramic dinnerware. We visited dozens of art and craft stores in the Bay Area. Even when we found something close to what we wanted, we were told that the plates, bowls, and mugs would not be uniform in size, and the plates might wobble from uneven bottoms. During a vacation in Santa Cruz, we spotted some remarkable ceramic pieces in an art gallery. The shop manager told us that the artists were local and suggested that we call them at home. Bonnie and Steven Barisof invited us to their house and studio. We admired the attractive shapes of vases and bowls, and we loved the colors of their glazes.

Bonnie and Steven listened to our request and they understood exactly what we wanted. They sent us samples so that we could confirm our preference for size and color of the dinnerware. The completed dinnerware set was everything that we had hoped for. We have used the plates, bowls, and mugs for casual and elegant dinner parties since 1982, and the pieces look as good as the day we first unpacked them. Clean up is easy by hand or in a dishwasher.

Over the years we have purchased dozens of unique vases and bowls of all sizes from Barisof Designs. When not in use, most of them are shown off in our display cases with other works of art. Ceramic pieces from Barisof Designs are functional works of art. And the added bonus is that Bonnie and Steven are wonderful people to know.            Tim & Lynne Smith       San Francisco, California

We have been purchasing Steven & Bonnie Barisof's pottery for over two decades. We consider their work both fine art and functional daily household items. The dinnerware has always been a source of inspiration for our family and guests who visit our home. We have watched their work evolve over the years. While they have developed designs of unique and exquisite aesthetic taste, they have consistently put forth products which are very durable & utilitarian. Friends and family members who have first seen the Barisof's pottery at our home have gone on to make their own purchases. Steven and Bonnie have always been very customer oriented and their products are moderately priced considering their quality of design and production. We feel most fortunate to have had the opportunity over time to purchase, collect and use Barisof Pottery products.

Sincerely, Barry Marks & Julie Lorraine      Aptos, California

We'd be happy to give a testimonial about your dinner ware and you are free to use it however you'd like:

We love our Barisof Designs dinnerware and it has been used, sometimes not too gently, with not even a chip for over three years. It was so much fun to work with Bonnie and Steven to pick our exact styles, shapes, colors and patterns. Many who gave them to us as wedding gifts commented how helpful the Barisof's were to work with in person or over the phone. Shipping went flawlessly. We'd recommend this dinnerware for anyone looking for wonderful, truly one-of-a-kind pieces and a fun experience putting the collection together.
