Spoon Rest Gallery - New Blue Spoon Rest

Each hand made slab piece has its own unique design. On this one we used our modified cobalt glaze which we call "New Blue". Then we took a dark iron glaze and a white glaze to create the design on top of it. Stoneware clay, fired in a slightly reducing atmosphere to 2425°F (1330°C).

Orders taken if this one is sold. Though no two pieces will fire out exactly the same, this glaze is very similar from firing to firing.
