Tile Gallery - Parrot Tile

This image of a parrot on a branch was inspired from a famous tile from the now defunct Malibu Pottery in Southern California. It was made using commercial glazes and stains as well as a few of our own custom made glazes (the red-orange and yellow). It is fired to 2250°F (1260°C). This is a Stoneware clay, fired in an oxidation atmosphere. All tiles are 12" x 20" x ½ unless otherwise noted. Other sizes starting at 2" x 2" and larger, are available in ¼ to ½ thicknesses or greater. Solid colors or smaller tiles with images of your choosing are also available by custom order.

Orders taken if this one is sold.Though no two pieces will fire out exactly the same, this glaze is very similar from firing to firing.
