Mug Gallery - Wide Bottom Mug

We first made a mug like this for a neighbor who wanted one that wouldn't tip over while driving to work in his truck. This is one of the largest sized mugs we make. It has our Electric Blue glaze on the top 1/3 and our Teal glaze on the bottom 2/3 with a zirconium white glaze overlayed in a free splash design. This kind of mug is also available in most of the other colors we have in our main gallery with the exception of the copper red glaze, and raku glazes. Stoneware clay, fired in a mildly reducing atmosphere to 2425°F (1310°C).

These mugs are perfectly designed to fit comfortably in an adult hand. This size holds roughly 16oz. of liquid, and is ideal for those who like larger mugs.
