Dharuma

This is an image of Dharuma, one of the eight Japanese Immortals.  It was painted using a sumi-e brush, and black ceramic pigment.  It is fired to 2250°F (1260°C). This is a Stoneware clay, fired in an oxidation atmosphere.  All tiles are 12" x 20" x ½ unless otherwise noted. Other sizes starting at 2" x 2" and larger, are available in ¼" to ½ " thicknesses or greater.  Solid colored or smaller tiles with images of your choosing are also available by custom order.

Orders taken if this one is sold.  Though no two pieces will fire out exactly the same, this glaze is very similar from firing to firing.
